  • Jul 09, 2024

Assalam Alaikum WR WB,

Living abroad comes with its share of challenges, one of which is the concern over passports and visas. Today, we're addressing a common worry: What to do if your passport and Indonesia visa are lost or stolen, specifically for Pakistani passport holders.

  • Step 1: Try Your Best to Find It
  • If you've misplaced your passport, retracing your steps is the first step. Return to places you've visited recently, such as attractions, restaurants, or shops, and check with Lost and Found. There's a chance you may find your passport. If not, move on to the next step.
  •
  • Step 2: Report the Loss to Local Authorities
  • Head to the nearest police station to report the loss. This report is crucial for any further steps. Once accepted, you'll receive a "Receipt of Report" in Indonesian.Step 3: Apply for Confirmation of Loss
  • Apply for a "Confirmation of Reporting the Loss of Passport" from the Exit & Entry Administration of Immigration. You'll need documents like the police report, copies of lost documents, and recent photos. Processing takes about 2 working days.
  •
  • Step 4: Apply for A Replacement Passport
  • You have 30 days to get a replacement passport and a new Indonesia visa. Visit your embassy or consulate promptly to get a new passport or a temporary one. EasyTrans is available to assist you.
  •
  • Step 5: Apply for A New Indonesia Visa
  • After obtaining a passport or temporary travel document, apply for a new Indonesia Visa from the local immigration office. You'll need documents like the "Confirmation of Reporting the Loss of Passport" and a photocopy of the lost passport. Immigration may require additional documents based on your situation.
  • Remember, timely action is crucial in such situations. EasyTrans is here to assist you throughout the process.
